Deployment Overview

Metaflow breaks the total process of mobile content deployment into a simple workflow. The workflow described here is the stages through which Metaflow transforms content after initial discovery has taken place and the project is configured and mounted.

First the user creates a plan with the channels requiring delivery, as outlined here.

Then the user builds up the plan by assigning relevant bundles, as outlined here

The user then resolves any issues and conflicts within this plan/channel and packages according to channel requirements, as outlined here

If the channel supports packaging only, then the user then runs the bundle export for the channel, as outlined here and manually finishes the deployment.

If the channel supports submissions, then the user now completes the submission wizard for the channel and prepares the submission, as outlined here

The user then audits what submission preparation has produced and manually submits the content via the channel specific interface (ftp, email, bulk upload etc).

Upon successful submission confirmation the user commits the submission using the correct action in the submission wizard
