Macros

Macros are a very powerful and useful feature allowing the user to record a filtered action and run it against all the bundles in a Plan.

Please also note that Macros is significantly different from Global Macros

An add locale Macro example created as shown below by selecting "Record Filtered Action" and select those bundles which you wish to against.

Once a Macro has been created it can be re-deployed by dragging and dropping it into any other plan in your project.

Macros can be set to Auto Run. When auto-run is set any additional bundles assigned to the plan will have the macro run against them, this is in normal and backfill perspectives and can also be edited after they have been created( As shown below)

Once a Macro has been created by a user it is possible to export it. To do this the user should Right click on the Macro and select Export from the list.(As shown below)

If the user now goes to Preferences > Channel Preferences > Macros they will now see the Macro they exported is visible, and will be automatically added to any new projects they add to that channel(As shown below)

Macros can also be edited or deleted from the Preferences page (via Right click)
