Metaflow Client Permission Management

The Metaflow Client uses Permissions to enable different users to access to various Features available in the client.Below is a list of the Available Permissions and the function that they enable.


  • Can view bundle reports : Permission allows the user to view reports based on a bundle


  • Can export to spreadsheet : Permission allows the user to export various reports to a spreadsheet


  • Can package : Permission allows the user to complete packaging operations on the Metaflow client


  • Can view revenues : Permission allows the user to view device revenues


  • Can wrap : Permission allows the user to use MIDlet wrapping technology


  • Can use macros : Permission allows the user to create/maintain and run macros


  • Can Administer Metaserver : Permission allows the user Metaserver Administrator rights


  • Can Create new Plans : Permission allows user to create new plans


  • Can recursively discover : Permission allows the user to use recursive discovery


  • Can view Bundle XML : Permission allows user to view the Bundle.XML


  • Can use Single Device XProject Backfill : Permission allows user access to Single Device XProject Backfill


  • Can create project : Permission allows the user to create new projects


  • Has image factory : Permission allows the user to access the Image Factory


  • Can use packager Backfill : Permission allows the user to use backfill in packaging channels


  • Can wap push : Permission allows the user to send WAP push messages from the client


  • Can export device list(s) : Permission allows the user to export device lists from Metaflow


  • Can Post Confirms to Warehouse : Permission allows confirmation posts to statewarehouse module


  • Can export to HTML : Permission allows the user to export various reports to a HTML document set


  • Can run filtered actions :Permission allows the user to use and run the filtered action functionality


  • Can delete Plans : Permission allows the user to delete Plans


  • Can use backfill : Permission allows the user to access the backfill perspective


  • Can view RSS : Permission allows the user to view the RSS feeds


  • Can use OTA : Permission allows the user to access a simple OTA service


  • Can view Confirmation Reports : Permission allows the user to access reports based on package confirmation


  • Can modify discovery preferences Permission : Allows the user to modify discovery preferences
