This page is available by selecting Preferences > Discovery Preferences
In this page the licensee can change the jar manifest attribute values used during discovery purposes. This page can be used to configure the required jar manifest attributes that must be in discovered assets. These properties can also be used to overwrite existing properties by ticking the Manifest entry box and entering the desired attribute or to simply strip out unwanted manifest attributes as required.
Editing these properties is exactly the same as a normal channel and is outlined in editing manifest attributes One important use for the discovery manifest data is to remove signing from the jar file manifests during discovery. This is a sensible action as during packaging it is HIGHLY likely that the manifest will be manipulated therefore invalidating the original signature.
