After the user has completed the packaging process, If the channel supports submission preparation, the user can now select Submission Tab and complete the submission wizard for the channel and prepare the submission. This will bring them to the screen shown below. Please note, they may be required to click on the "Tasks" tab at the bottom to see outstanding tasks related to the submission.
Note now the traffic light next to the SKU is coloured red, and the word "Problem" appears in the "Bundle Status" window. This indicates they have some tasks that need satisfying before the submission process can be completed.
They can now double-left click on the first task. This will open a new window allowing them to satisfy the task. Please note, the default screen to open is at this scoped-level meaning any change made here is only for this particular plan and not the whole project.
(Note: About how to satisfy Image tasks please see Satisfying Image Tasks)
Some channels provide a "Submission Guide" to assist the user in making sure the Submission follows the correct criteria for the channel.
This is for preparing the Submission and generating a ZIP or XML file. The user may view this ZIP/XML file at this point or later using the (Channel Name) ZIP link. When a ZIP is viewed with Metaflow, the user may step through some of the ZIP content, inspecting it in the lower pane (as shown in the image below).
Some images and files cannot be viewed currently and will show the error message shown below. This message is general information, it is not a fatal error.
Use this link to confirm the Submission is correct to the channel-specific requirements. This will update the submission reports and generate a Submission Report. This is explained in detail here.
